West Ham fans have long complained that the London Stadium doesn’t feel like home and the Hammers may have to deal with another issue that will make it increasingly difficult for the club to settle into the stadium.

The Sun claimed at the weekend that the proposed takeover of Wembley Stadium could leave Chelsea in limbo when they build a new stadium to replace Stamford Bridge, raising the prospect of the Blues sharing a home with the Hammers.

However, the same outlet then added that West Ham are confident that they can block the Premier League giants from playing at the London Stadium, despite an agreement with the landlords saying that another club could play on the same field.

While an agreement is there in principle, West Ham believe they have the right to veto any deal- in what could leave Chelsea in a very difficult position, as it’s not clear where they will play while planned redevelopment of their home in west London goes ahead.
