West Ham have plenty of work to do this summer to improve their ranks and bolstering their options between the sticks is likely to be near the top of David Moyes’ list of tasks.

Manchester City loanee Joe Hart has struggled for consistency during his spell at the London Stadium this season, whilst Adrian has also faced difficulties in his quest to return to his previous position as the club’s number one.

As such, the Hammers will be on the market for a new stopper and Italian outlet Il Gazzettino links Moyes’ side with the services of a highly-rated teenager, although he’s certainly one foe the future rather than an immediate fix.

The player in question is 16-year-old Marco Meneghetti, who had caught the eye with his performances for the youth ranks of third-tier side Pordenone- and has earned a first-team appearance for the club this season.

However, West Ham will face a fierce fight for his services as Serie A giants Inter Milan are also attributed with an interest in the teenager.
