West Ham have plenty of work to do between now and the end of the season as they seek to retain their Premier League status but there will also be plenty of business to complete during the close season.

The Hammers have struggled for consistency during their two seasons at the London Stadium and an ageing squad is in desperate need of rejuvenation, which could lead to wholesale changes amongst the playing contingent this summer.

David Moyes struggled to land the signings he wanted during the January window but will look to rectify that at the end of the season, although he faces a stern battle in the quest to land one reported attacking target.

The Daily Mirror states fellow relegation strugglers Crystal Palace have become the latest Premier League side to express an interest in Ostersunds striker Saman Ghoddos, who impressed for the Swedish side in their superb Europa League campaign.

24-year-old Ghoddos was part of the side who caused an incredible upset at the Emirates Stadium, beating Arsenal 2-1, and has since attracted interest from the likes of Southampton, West Brom and Brighton as well as the Hammers and Palace.

The striker will cost at least £5m, with Celta Vigo seeing an offer around that region rejected in January, but the Swedish side will not stand in his way if he seeks an exit.
