West Ham find themselves in an extremely difficult position, with the Hammers sitting just three points above the relegation zone after three consecutive defeats to Liverpool, Swansea City and Burnley.

The tempers at the London Stadium reached breaking point during the recent defeat to the Clarets, which led to passionate voices of discontent from the supporters and a number of unsavoury incidents both on and off the field.

Now with three weeks until their next Premier League fixture, West Ham will find themselves doing a whole lot of soul searching in the coming weeks- and it appears that the drama of the stadium move are also present behind the scenes.

The Daily Telegraph reports that West Ham are embroiled in a £100m dispute with the London Stadium landlords regarding the capacity and revenue, which will see the two parties face off at the high court in November.

West Ham believed their capacity at the London Stadium would be 60,000 but soon found out the agreement was just 53,500. However, a compromise was made that gave the Hammers an extra 3,500 seats.

The drama isn’t complete yet though as West Ham continue to want to expand and hope to fill the stadium’s full 66,000 capacity, although there’s plenty yet to discuss- and a high court order could follow later this year.
