West Ham are intent on bolstering their options during the summer transfer window and it’s likely that David Moyes will return on the market for some of his long-term targets.

The Sun reported in January that the Hammers were keen on signing Harry Arter from Bournemouth but saw two bids, in the region of £6m and £8m respectively, rejected by Cherries boss Eddie Howe.

Bournemouth, who like West Ham are battling to avoid the drop, were not keen on directly strengthening a rival but Arter is likely to leave in the summer- and Howe will not stand in the way of the midfielder if he wants to move across the Premier League.

Now, the chances of West Ham signing Arter seem to have increased as reports published by The Daily Mirror indicate that the south coast side are keen on signing Lokomotiv Moscow’s Anton Miranchuk as a replacement.

West Ham want experienced Premier League players to bolster their squad and 28-year-old Arter is seen as an ideal choice, so this news will be well received.
