RB: Sam Byram
The 24-year-old former Leeds United full-back has struggled to find consistency at West Ham, partly due to the competition he’s had to face at the London Stadium, but he certainly needs to step up a gear in the coming years.
West Ham have relied too heavily on ageing members of their squad, shown once again last year by the decision to sign Pablo Zabaleta, and a shift needs to occur. Byram can be a huge part of this and has the ability to shine, which he now needs to fulfil.
