West Ham United face a stern test in the remainder of the season, as David Moyes’ side battle to avoid relegation to the Championship after a difficult campaign.

The Hammers are expected to fight to safety in the months ahead and the Scottish manager will take comfort in the fact that his side have enjoyed a four-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, moving the East London side to three points above the drop zone.

A crucial match awaits this weekend against a Watford side who have struggled in recent months, leading to the departure of Marco Silva, and former England striker Michael Owen expects West Ham to secure another positive result this weekend.

In his weekly predictions for BetVictor, the ex-England ace said:

“West Ham are unbeaten in their last four home games but Watford were sensational against a below-par Chelsea on Monday and I feel they can get a point at the London Stadium.”

“I enjoyed watching the Hornet’s mix of pace and power at Vicarage Road earlier in the week, but Watford have only picked up five points from the last 30 on the road and this game has a draw written all over it.”

Owen is backing a 1-1 draw between the two sides, which may not be exactly what Hammers fans are hoping for.
