West Ham are being linked with a host of deals in the remaining days of the January transfer window, though some are more likely to go ahead than others.
One name being linked with a move to the London Stadium recently is Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu, who has struggled for playing opportunities in Catalonia since rejoining the Spanish giants from Everton last summer.
The 23-year-old Spaniard will be concerned that his opportunities at the Nou Camp will continue to be limited, particularly following the capture of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool and Ousmane Dembele’s return from injury.
An exit could therefore materialise for the young winger but The Sun have stated in their live transfer blog that West Ham, or any other interested party, will have to part with £18m if they’re to land the talented wide player.
Deulofeu certainly has the talent, having impressed on-loan with AC Milan last season and excelling on national duty for Spain, but it’s unlikely that the Hammers would part with a hefty figure this week.
