West Ham will have plenty to think about over the course of the coming weeks as the January transfer window edges closer to it’s finale, with a number of deals still being eyed.

David Moyes is seeking signings to reinforce his relegation threatened side for the second-half of the season but also has decisions to make regarding outgoing players, who could be shifted to allow for further movement in the transfer market.

One of those is summer signing Javier Hernandez, who hasn’t quite settled in East London, andĀ The Daily MailĀ reports that Turkish outfit Besiktas are looking to bring the Mexican striker in on a loan deal.

Besiktas, who secured their place in the knock-out stages of the Champions League, are looking to find a replacement for striker Cenk Tosun, who joined Sam Allardyce’s Everton earlier this window, and see Hernandez as the ideal fit.

The difficulty for West Ham is that they would potentially be left short on attacking options, with Diafra Sakho and Andre Ayew both likely to leave and Andy Carroll attracting the attention of Chelsea.

Marko Arnautovic may be used centrally on more occasions though, after a remarkable upturn in form, which could limit the action that Hernandez sees at the London Stadium.
