3 players West Ham should offload before next week’s transfer deadline

Javier Hernandez

Costing £16m last summer when he signed from Bayer Leverkusen, Javier Hernandez has failed to adapt to life back in the Premier League and recent reports that have emerged suggest that the Mexican wants to leave- and West Ham should grant that opportunity.

Whilst losing such a high-profile recruit would be a blow, West Ham need players dedicated to their cause and the funds they’d earn from a sale of Hernandez would be significant- allowing them to land a striker that is more suited to their style of play.

Should Hernandez leave, a new striker would almost certainly need to be drafted in due to the injury to Andy Carroll but Moyes would have the funds available to complete such a move.
