Diafra Sakho
At the time of writing, reports state that Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho has passed a medical with French club Rennes ahead of a proposed £9m transfer. By the time you’re reading this, that deal could well be completed or be on the verge of being made official.
The Senegalese striker has made it very clear that he wants to leave the club, ahead of the World Cup this summer, and West Ham look set to finally approve the departure- having waited for interest from outside the Premier League in order to ensure they’re not selling to a direct rival.
A deal could potentially be held up by West Ham though due to the injury for Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez’s loss of form. However, it appears a deal will be pushed through.
