West Ham remain active in the January transfer window as David Moyes looks to bolster his side ahead of the relegation battle that lies in front of the Hammers.
The East London side secured their first signing of the window last week, capturing Joao Mario on-loan from Inter Milan, but Moyes remains in the hunt for further additions who can help the Hammers push away from the relegation zone.
A number of potential recruits have been named throughout the January window but Moyes has had to endure some frustrations in the market, with Premier League rivals making it clear the likes of Alfie Mawson and Jonjo Shelvey are off the table.
West Ham have therefore had to adjust their stance and the signing of Mario is just the first of the deals that could occur from outside the Premier League, as the Hammers are pushing to complete these three signings before Wednesday evening’s deadline.
