Tottenham are monitoring the situation of West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini, and could be ready to make an audacious move for the Argentine as soon as January, reports TalkSPORT.
West Ham have had a difficult start to the season, with Lanzini missing out on much of the action thus far through injury.
He however, has impressed when he has played, much like he did last season when he was arguably the Hammers’ stand-out player in what was again a poor season.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly a big fan of the 24-year-old star, and could look to tempt him across London after the New Year as he looks to bolster his squad to mount a challenge for the Premier League title.
The pull of European football could prove to be too much for Lanzini should Spurs swoop for him, however they may have to pay over the odds, with West Ham recently slapping a £30 million valuation on his head to ward off potential suitors.
