Tony Pulis became the fourth managerial casualty of the Premier League season when he was fired by West Bromich Albion yesterday afternoon.

Pulis was given the boot from the Hawthorns following the Baggies 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, their sixth of the season.

The ex-Stoke City man joins Frank de Boer, Ronald Koeman and of course our own Slaven Bilic in being the fourth top flight manager to be shown the door this season.

The question for Pulis now however is, where will be his next job?

A man who all but guarantees Premier League safety. A man who seems do a lot with very little resources. A man who typically gets the best out of his players.

A club springs to mind that could do with just that sort of manager: West Ham.

The Hammers appointed David Moyes earlier in the month as the club’s new manager, however after their continued poor form (albeit it has only been one game), some of the fans seem to think the powers that be would have instead had the opportunity to appoint the right man should they have waited only a few weeks …
