West Ham are trying to find their feet since their move to the London Stadium 18 months ago and a major problem has been the club’s failures in the transfer market.

A wealth of disappointing signings have been made since moving to the London Stadium and there’s concerns that a similar fate could fall upon the recruits from this summer, with Javier Hernandez struggling for consistency and Marko Arnautovic leaving a lot to be desired.

England international Joe Hart, signed on-loan from Manchester City, continues to dive opinion with his performances but stands as the first-choice goalkeeper at West Ham, so a permanent move could be on the cards next year.

According to The Daily StarWest Ham would have to pay between £3m and £6m to bring the goalkeeper to East London on a permanent basis and, whilst his performances have been poor at times this season, it’s an opportunity that shouldn’t be overlooked.

At 30, Hart has a number of years ahead of him and has the Premier League experience that the Hammers seem to have lacked in recent years, whilst the figure wouldn’t break the budget at all.

West Ham fans will want to see an improvement in Hart’s performances before their club agrees to a permanent deal though and the England stopper has to improve for his own reasons, as he battles to be number one for England’s World Cup campaign next summer.
