West Ham fans have faced a difficult 18 months since moving to the London Stadium and it’s fair to say the board isn’t the most popular bunch amongst supporters.
After flirting with the drop last season, the Hammers have found the challenges even more extreme this term as they sit in the bottom three- costing Slaven Bilic his job, with the Croatian boss sacked during the international break.
David Moyes was appointed as his successor, on a short deal until the end of the season, but it appears the Scottish boss wasn’t the Hammers first choice- although there’s little to suggest the board would have secured a better appointment.
It’s now being reported that the Hammers failed with an approach to land former England and Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce, who was demanding too high a price to return to his former stomping grounds.
Fans aren’t too impressed with the claims though and believe it’s further evidence of the board failing the club, as they express their views on social media.

Let's hope Moyes doesn't read this. Are the owners for real? letting this information be put out just undermines Moyes. Whatever happened to commercial in confidence?

The board really are joke.
Firstly for going in for him despite knowing the fans opinions & secondly for not paying what he wanted.— Kris Johnson (@kjohno10) November 21, 2017
