With West Ham facing a defensive crisis ahead of the weekend, Pedro Obiang is a vital player for the Hammers and could either play in defensive midfield or slot into the centre of defence. Ideally, it would be the former.
Liverpool have an attack bursting with threat and Obiang’s presence in midfield can help to break down the Reds’ advances and keep the likes of Emre Can quiet. He’ll certainly need to track back though, with the Hammers having to deal with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
