A West Ham United fan has been left red faced after paying the price for his own guilt at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Hammers emerged 3-2 victors over Tottenham Hotspur in a thrilling clash in the capital, coming down from 2-0 down to earn an historic win.

A brace from Andre Ayew and a 70th minute Angelo Ogbonna winner saved the day, sending the travelling Claret and Blue Army into jubilation upon the final whistle.

One man however took things too far in the celebrations, and ultimately came a cropper for his efforts.

Mark Noble, who threw his shirt in the direction of a kid in the away end after the 90 minutes were up, was shocked to see a man dive in an attempt to steal the piece of memorabilia from the child.

The fan, however determined he was to get that shirt, paid the price however, and quite literally fell to his own demise in both calamitous and hilarious fashion.

Serves you right!
