The future of West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has been further thrown into doubt after Everton parted ways with Ronald Koeman earlier today.

The Dutchman was sacked by the club after a poor start to the season which sees the Toffees sit in the relegation zone of the Premier League, despite spending in excess of £100 million during the summer transfer market.

Koeman’s side picked up only 8 points from their opening nine top flight games this season.

West Ham sit dangerously above Koeman’s former side, them too having only 8 points to their name in what has been an equally poor start to the new season, form that has seen manager Slaven Bilic heavily rumoured to be on his way out from East London.

Like Everton, West Ham too spent big in the summer on a number of high profile names such as Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic, however the money spent has failed to pay off leaving Bilic in hot water.

After Koeman’s dismissal, the Croat is now the favourite with a number of bookmakers to be the next Premier League manager to be given the axe.
