West Ham fans will be hoping their side has finally turned a corner today, after the Hammers’ dramatic comeback against Tottenham Hotspur saw Slaven Bilic’s side reach the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Away supporters were left fearing the worst at half-time as their side entered the break 2-0 down, with West Ham not showing themselves in the best of light, but a superb turnaround in the second-half changed the fortunes of the match.

Andre Ayew got the Hammers back into the game by netting a brace and Angelo Ogbonna emerged to score the winning goal with a header, giving West Ham another famous victory against their rivals from North London.

There’s still a lot of work to be done though, particularly as the Hammers sit above the relegation zone on only goal difference, and this weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace, a side rooted to the bottom of the table, is crucial.

West Ham fans have made their own assessments from last night’s game though and believe that it shows a shake-up in the first-team needs to go ahead, with many of those featuring yesterday deserving their chance in the Premier League.
