A regular this season, although not performing that well, Mark Noble’s presence in the middle of the park in midweek helped the Hammers to turn the game around as he provided the sort of leadership that West Ham need to bounce-back from their rotten spell.
The skipper certainly needs to improve on his performances but his presence in midfield for a crucial game against Crystal Palace may well be decisive, as he can urge the side to perform better and lead by example in the centre of the field.
