Slaven Bilic earned himself a few more weeks in the West Ham job with the (fortunate) victory over Swansea City last weekend but the pressure very much remains on the Croatian manager, who’s consistently flirted with an exit.
Bilic kept his position at the end of last season, following a disappointing campaign, and again at the end of August when the Hammers had endured a dreadful start to the new season. Since then, only two victories have followed.
Seven points from seven matches is certainly not an acceptable return but the blame cannot solely fall at the feet of the manager, as other aspects of the club need to take their own share of responsibility- and we’ve identified three things that have already let the manager down this season.
