Rolling back the clock, West Ham’s decision to sell Scott Parker to arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in 2011 was a decision that the club can certainly look back upon with regret- especially as the England international was an instant success with his new side, winning Player of the Year in his debut season.
Injury problems soon took their toll, with Parker then joining Fulham in 2013 before retiring this summer, but the midfielder could have easily become a legend at Upton Park if he remained with the Hammers rather than jumping ship.
