First-team football at West Ham
Fans have been calling to see Reece Oxford in the West Ham first-team regularly for a while but, given the predicament that the side have had since their move away from Upton Park, it’s been difficult to find the ideal situation to bleed him into the side.
However, he may provide the defensive boost that West Ham are looking for. The fact he’s a home-grown English player would put the fans on his side from the off, potentially resulting in more patience with the side as a whole. That said, it’s a very slippery slope.
