Slaven Bilic is expected to make ‘significant changes’ to his West Ham starting XI tonight when they take on Huddersfield Town as the under fire boss looks to save his job.

The Hammers welcome the Premier League new boys to London Stadium for their first home game of the campaign, and will be looking to register their first points of the Premier League season after having lost all three of their opening games to Manchester United, Southampton and Newcastle.

That poor run of form has seen the heat turned up on Bilic, who many felt was lucky to keep his job last season. Speculation over his future has further intensified today after Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer was sacked after only five games in charge. Like Bilic, De Boer’s side had also failed to register a point so far this season in the league.

In an attempt to keep his job however, Bilic is expected to make a number of changes to his side tonight.

The Daily Express reports that Andy Carroll could be in line for his first start of the season after recovering from injury, while a number of other names could also come into the squad in the places in the injured Manuel Lanzini and Andre Ayew, and the suspended Marko Arnautovic.

Bilic may also turn to a number of his young players including Declan Rice and Domingos Quina in an one what been described as ‘one final roll of the dice’.

The Hammers kick-off tonight at 8pm BST.
