The summer has been an exciting one for West Ham fans. New players, new contracts, and more importantly a new sense of positivity around the club following a difficult last campaign.
Now only three sleeps away from the kick-off of the Hammers new Premier League campaign, West Ham fans should have plenty of reasons to be excited for the coming year.
Slaven Bilic’s side travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United in what to bound to be a thrilling – albeit difficult – opener for the Croat’s men.
The fixture is the first of three consecutive away days in the league, with the Hammers having to wait until almost mid-September to play their first game at the London Stadium against Huddersfield Town.
It may not be the ideal start to a new campaign, especially considering the Irons struggled to make their new home their own last season and will want a strong start to change that, but it shouldn’t distract from what is bound to be a good year.
