A loyal, or perhaps bonkers, West Ham fan has paid the ultimate tribute to the Hammer’s new signing Javier Hernandez by having a tattoo of the Mexican flag inked on his bottom.

Having in jest declared that he would indeed get such a tattoo last month of Twitter should West Ham complete a deal for the former Manchester United striker, the fan has stayed true to his word and put his money where his mouth is, or backside in this specific case.

Twitter user ‘tappa1984’ was more than happy to get the permanent ink carried out on his behind, vowing it’s worth it if the East Londoners sign him.

To prevent him from backing out, the son of co-Chairman David Sullivan, Dave Sullivan Jr no less, offered to pay for the tattoo, and he too was true to his word.

After the procedure, tappa1984, took to Twitter to thank Sullivan Jr for fronting the money, and described the ordeal as an ‘unusual sensation’.
