Slaven Bilic is set to hold emergency talks today with West Ham co-owner David Sullivan as he looks to save his job, says The Sun.

The Croatian and his side have come under heavy criticism after a poor start to the new season, which currently sees them rock bottom of the Premier League table with no points from their opening three games.

The club also had a difficult pre-season, winning only one of their six fixtures during their tour of Europe, including a 3-0 defeat to Premier League rivals Manchester City and a dismal 3-3 draw at German fifth tier side Altona 93.

Following the Hammers 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United at the weekend, David Sullivan has called emergency talks with Bilic, and will discuss his future at the London Stadium as well as try to identify how the club can improve after a string of bad results.

The Croatian joined the club in the summer of 2014 and enjoyed a terrific first season, however found his side engaged in a relegation battle for much of his second term at the helm. Bilic is now the final year of his three-year deal with the club and is out of contract next summer.
