West Ham United target William Carvalho is refusing to train with current club Sporting Lisbon amidst the ongoing transfer saga over his move to the London Stadium, reports Correio da Manha (via Football London).

The Portugal international is expected to become a West Ham player by the end of the month when the transfer window shuts, however while he has already agreed personal terms with the Hammers, the two clubs thus far are unable to reach an agreement with regards to a fee, stalling the move’s completion.

The Hammers have already submitted a club record bid of £27.1 million plus add ons for the 25-year-old midfielder, however Sporting are holding out for £40 million for the midfielder.

Carvalho, who is keen on a move to East London, is now refusing to train with the Portuguese outfit in an attempt to force a move to the Premier League through.

The Euro 2016 winner is reportedly unhappy with the way his current club have handled the deal, and is keen to complete his switch to East London as soon as possible.
