Stoke City midfielder Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request whilst on pre-season with the Potters, says Sports Mole.
The Austria international has been linked with a move to West Ham over the previous weeks, reportedly having a £10 million bid already rejected by Stoke for the player, however a transfer request could now open the door for the Hammers to make their move again for the former Inter Milan star.
Arnautovic moved to the bet365 stadium from Bundesliga club Werder Bremen in 2013 and has since made 145 appearances and scored 26 goals for Mark Hughes’ side.
Slaven Bilic is reportedly an admirer of the Austrian and is keen to bring him to the London Stadium ahead of the new season.
The Hammers are chasing a forward this summer, however are yet to replace Dimitri Payet in their midfield after the Frenchman left for his former club Marseille back in January.
