Ligue 1 side Marseille are ready to make West Ham target Moussa Dembele their number one priority this summer, says Sky Sports.

The Celtic star scored 32 times last season for The Bhoys as they won the treble and went unbeaten through the whole campaign, and his performances  has attracted attention from a number of clubs across Europe including West Ham and London rivals Chelsea.

Marseille however are now said to be extremely keen on the striker as they look for a replacement for frontman Bafetimbi Gomis, who left for Galatasaray in a recent move worth a reported £3 million.

Gomis scored an impressive 21 times for Marseille last season and his departure leaves a large void in the club’s frontline, one the French side believe can be filled by Gomis’ countryman Dembele who had a terrific debut season in the SPL for Celtic.

Dembele signed for Celtic last summer from Fulham and has three years remaining on his contract at the Scottish champions.
