Javier Hernandez was last night announced as a West Ham player after completing his £16 million move from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

The former Manchester United star returns to the Premier League after a three year sabbatical, first with Real Madrid then Leverkusen, the latter with whom he enjoyed great success, scoring 39 goals across two seasons for the German outfit.
