A man who chose the MLS not because his career was over in France, Alessandrini shocked Marseille fans when he chose to make the switch to LA Galaxy in January, seemingly just approaching the prime of his career.
The Frenchman’s record in his home country wasn’t bad either, as he found the net fairly regularly from out wide for his former sides Marseille, Rennes and Clermont Foot. A player who definitely still has the ability and fitness to compete at the highest level, the winger would be a straight replacement for outbound Sofiane Feghouli.
