West Ham fans have responded to rumours linking star midfielder Manuel Lanzini with a summer move to Premier League rivals.
The Hammers are determined to keep hold of star midfielder Manuel Lanzini amidst interest from Liverpool, reports the Evening Standard.
Lanzini has emerged as a target for Jurgen Klopp as he eyes up replacements should Philippe Coutinho leaves the Reds this summer. Barcelona are reportedly preparing a huge £80 million bid for the midfielder and Liverpool are unlikely to turn down any such offer.
The Argentina international joined the Hammers – initially on loan – two years ago from UAE Arabian Gulf team Al Jazira and has since established himself as one of the club’s most important players and a fan favourite, making 70 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side, finding the net 15 times.
His dramatic winner in a 2-1 victory over Tottenham at the London Stadium at the back end of last season have already made him a cult hero at the club.
Fans – to say the least – would be devastated to see the midfielder leave this summer, especially after the Hammers have made a number of strong summer signings already, and have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts …
