Galatasaray Director of Football Cenk ErgunĀ has flown into London to hold talks with West Ham United over the transfer of winger Sofiane Feghouli, reports Turkish Football.

The Algeria international joined the Hammers last summer on a free transfer from La Liga side Valencia, but has since struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium and is now set to move away after only one year with the Premier League club.

Since joining the Hammers, Feghouli has made 27 appearances, finding the net just 4 times for Slaven Bilic’s side. He was infamously sent off 15 minutes into his Premier League debut in Claret and Blue against Manchester United at the start of 2017, however the card was later rescinded by the FA.

Stade Rennais are also said to be interested in the attacker and are keen to reunite Fehgouli with former manager Christian Gourcuff, however it is Galatasaray who remain favourites to secure his signature after Ergun confirmed talks with West Ham.
