West Ham have been linked with more forwards than you can shake at stick since the Premier League season ended and this time it is Werder Bremen hitman Max Kruse who has attracted interest from those at the London Stadium reports Sky Sports.

The Bundesliga striker finished the campaign with an impressive 15 goals and 7 assists in the league as Bremen finished in 8th place, and his performances in front of goal have led to rumours of his departure with the German outfit allegedly ready to accept bids in the region of £10.4 million. (€12 million)

The Hammers are determined to sign a striker this summer after a lacklustre campaign in front of goal, and have been linked with a host of top names from across Europe in their search. Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Kelechi Iheanacho are just a few of those who have been linked with a move to the club.

Kruse, 29, has 14 senior caps for Germany, scoring 4 times for his country.

West Ham face Kruse’s Werder Bremen in back-to-back games this summer as part of their pre-season tour of Europe.
