Adama Traore looks set for a move to West Ham United after betting syndicate BetVictor yesterday suspended betting on the potential transfer of the 21-year-old winger to the London Stadium.

Rumours emerged only last night that the pacy Boro’ star could be making the switch from Teeside to the capital, and it wasn’t long before BetVictor stopped taking punts on the move.

Traore joined the Premier League in 2015, and has had spells at both Aston Villa and of course Middlesbrough, however both had little success.

Villa were relegated during his first season in English football as he failed to register a single goal and only a single assist. Traore and Boro’ would suffer the same fate the following season, with the team from the Riverside also relegated, and the former Barcelona man failing to score and earning only one assist.

Trader’s less than poor statistics seem not to have damaged his reputation however, with the winger formerly linked with a move to Chelsea earlier in the year, and now recently linked with a host of Premier League clubs including West Ham.

A prodigy at the Camp Nou, and with dribbling statistics better than any other player in Europe, many Hammers fans feel the player has more to offer and could be a bargain buy, however, with the aforementioned statistics there are plenty who believe he has already missed his chance to shine.

The faithful are torn, but what do you think?
