Brighton & Hove Albion are now favourites to sign Ludogorets winger Jonathan Cafu this summer, according to Sport Witness.

The website reports that the West Ham target is more than happy to join the Seagulls despite being a newly promoted side, but the two clubs have yet to agree on a transfer fee.

The Brazilian has a £10.4million release clause in his contract but Brighton are seeking to sign the player for less than that. Ludogorets are said to be willing to negotiate on the fee for the 25 year old, and the two sides are confident an agreement can be made.

Cafu joined the Bulgarian champions from Sao Paulo in 2015 for £1.87m, and has gone on to not only impress for his club in their domestic league, but also in European competitions.

He featured for Ludogorets in the Champions League last campaign, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 12 matches in both the qualifying rounds and the group stage.
