West Ham and Crystal Palace are both looking at Inter Milan left back Davide Santon, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Italian website report that the club’s owners, the Suning Group, are believed to be waiting for formal offers from the two clubs “in the next few days.”
The former Newcastle defender has lost his place in the starting line up this campaign after starting the season in the first team. The 26 year old was selected consistently by Frank De Boer but after the Dutchman’s sacking in November, he was given very little game time by his successor Stefano Pioli.
He did however start the last two matches of the Serie A season following Pioli’s dismissal as head coach but it seems likely that the full back doesn’t have a future at the Giuseppe Meazza with Inter’s owners preparing a spending spree now they have been freed from the restrictions of UEFA’s Financial Fairplay regulations.
