West Ham’s home kit for the upcoming 2017/18 season has been leaked online, after photos of the alleged new strip appeared in photos on social media after the kit was found to be on sale abroad.

Remaining with Umbro for the third consecutive season, the traditional claret body and blues sleeves are accompanied by a classic diamond pattern synonymous with the maker’s past kits, giving the strip a rather vintage look rather than the predominantly donned skin-tight, ultra modern outfits worn by most.

The sponsor again remains as Betway, with whom the club signed back in 2015.

The Hammers only recently released their new away kit – which is likely to be hugely popular with the West Ham fans this season with its black and electric blue colour scheme – recently, and are yet to officially release the new home kit.

However with the photos of the apparent new shirt making its way around social media like wildfire, a club announcement is likely to be imminent should the kit be the ‘real deal’ so-to-say.

The shirt gets the thumbs up from me, but what do you think?
