West Ham have officially unveiled their new home kit ahead of the 2017/18 Premier League season.

Photos of the kit had previously been leaked online after what was thought to be the new strip was found on sale abroad, and the release has confirmed that such photographs were indeed of the genuine article.

The claret and blue strip features the club’s modernised crest, which was launched in 2016, and pale blue sleeves running across the shoulders. A dark chevron pattern down into the chest from the neck gives the kit a classic feel.

Club stars Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Mark Noble can be seen modelling the new strip – manufactured by Umbro for the third consecutive year – as part of the official launch.

Betway remains the club’s shirt sponsor for the coming year.

Hammers fans will have to wait until September 9th to see the new strip in action at the London Stadium, after it the club’s proposed first home game of the season with Southampton was reversed in light of the World Athletic’s Championships.
