West Ham target Michy Batshuayi says he has yet to consider his future at Chelsea, but he is prepared to go out on loan if the Blues decide to make him available.

The Belgian international has rarely featured since his £33m move from Marseille last summer, making just one start in the Premier League all season. Speaking to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad (translated by the Sun), the 23 year old said:

“Honestly, I’m not trying to think too much [about my future]. It will be up to the board and the coach to decide. I’m the player, I go where Chelsea send me.”

The Hammers made a £30m bid for the striker last summer prior to his switch to Stamford Bridge, and the club are believed to have maintained an interest since then. How the club’s reported bid for Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho affects the possibilities of signing the Belgian, it is not known.

It could be the case that West Ham will make a loan bid for Batshuayi if the move for the Nigerian international fails. Iheanacho is however likely to move to the London Stadium if quotes from the player’s representative are accurate. The agent told owngoalnigeria.com that “talks with West Ham are very advanced.”
