West Ham will aim to make just two to three key signings in the summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.

After the mistakes made on signing a number of cheaper players at the start of the season, the Hammers are looking for a change of approach, and are seeking new additions who will bring quality to the starting eleven.

It is believed all the money from the sale of Dimitri Payet to Marseille will be made available to Slaven Bilic to spend. Currently the three main positions to fill would be at right back, in goal where both Adrian and Darren Randolph have struggled for form this season, and up front.

One of the key targets is believed to be Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge. The injury plagued forward is reportedly available in the summer and the Telegraph say West Ham have “considered a bid” for the 27 year old. This season the England international has made 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.
