West Ham are preparing to make an offer for Yaya Toure.
According to a report in The Telegraph the Manchester City is one of the Hammer’s top summer targets.
Toure is out of contract in the summer and has resisted the offer of a new 12 month contract put on the table by Pep Guardiola.
If West Ham manage to sign the 33-year-old it will certainly meet the marquee tag that the club was looking for to mark their move to the London Stadium.
Toure was frozen out of the City side until November but returned in style with a double away to Crystal Palace and hasn’t looked back since.
According to the Telegraph report Slaven Bilic will remain in charge next season despite speculation that he could be sacked. Next season is the third and final one on the Croatian’s contract with a decision expected in the new year about whether to renew his deal.
