West Ham will make another attempt to sign Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi in the summer, according to the Daily Express.

The Hammers offered £30million for the Belgian international before the 23 year old opted to join the Blues. They also reportedly made another bid in January to take the forward on loan for the rest of the season.

It seems like West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has kept up his interest in Batshuayi with the club likely to propose a season long loan for the player.

The striker has struggled for game time under manager Antonio Conte this season with just 24 appearances and six starts in all competitions. He has not featured in the starting eleven in the Premier League, and four of his five goals this campaign have come in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Whether Conte will allow Batshuayi to leave on loan, it is not known. There are doubts over the long term future of Diego Costa and the Italian will be reluctant to lighten his options further without replacing them with new recruits.
