West Ham fans are a forgiving lot and are prepared to roll out the welcome mat for Michy Batshuayi if he finally makes it to the London Stadium.
Reports surfaced yesterday that Slaven Bilic remained interested in the Chelsea striker who looks like being sold in the close season.
The Belgian striker opted for Chelsea ahead of West Ham last summer but during the January transfer window it was the club rather than the player that knocked back the chance to go out on loan.
Batshuayi would be a star at West Ham.

It seems fairly clear that Chelsea want to sell the striker with Batshuayi looking to get away from Stamford Bridge rather than just go out on loan.
The Belgian international striker is likely to be facing a pay cut to leave Chelsea but wherever he moves to it’ll be on wages far higher than the deal he had at Marseille.
Slaven Bilic is looking to make significant changes to the way West Ham have been playing this season with a new look strike force central to his plans.
Batshuayi would certainly have a point to prove if he moved across London but it’ll all boil down to whether personal terms can be agreed.
