West Ham will allow both Jonathan Calleri and Diafra Sakho to leave in the summer as they look to strengthen their forward line, according to the Daily Star.

The paper says that manager Slaven Bilic remains keen on Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and wants the Hammers pair to leave in order to make room for the Belgian international and other signings.

Calleri is currently on a season long loan from Deportivo Maldonado, and the Hammers have the option to buy the 23 year old at the end of the season. Despite impressing in the 1-0 win over Tottenham last time out, his lack of goals means Bilic is likely to send him back to South America.

Sakho meanwhile has struggled with injuries all season. The Senegalese international was poised to leave the club last summer but his £15m transfer to West Bromwich Albion collapsed after concerns over a long standing back injury.

It is the same injury which has recurred right throughout the season, and it has now ruled him for the rest of the campaign. Whether there will be any takers for the 27 year old, we will have to wait and see.
