West Ham captain Mark Noble feels the Hammers must capitalise on their victory against Tottenham last week.

The team put in an impressive display against their London rivals and the midfielder says he would be disappointed if they don’t replicate that performance in the club’s final two league games to finish a difficult season on a positive note. He told the club’s official website:

“We want to finish as high up the table as possible and after beating Spurs, to not go on and get some more results would be disappointing. We want to finish in the top half and then that would be a very good season for us.”

Noble’s side will face Liverpool at the London Stadium on Sunday in the club’s last home game of the season, before they finish their campaign with a trip to Turfmoor to face Burnley.

With West Brom having to play Chelsea on Friday, the Hammers could go level on points this weekend with the Baggies, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League table. Things are tight in the middle of the table with five teams within three points of each other all vying for a top ten finish.
