West Ham have revived their interest in Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, according to O Jogo (via Talksport). The midfielder has been linked with a move to the London club in past transfer windows.

The Portuguese newspaper say that the Hammers had scouts in attendance for Porto’s 3-0 win over Belenenses at the weekend. The Algerian international started on the left wing for the Portuguese side and sealed victory for his club with the third goal in the 74th minute. He was then substituted seven minutes later after putting in an impressive display.

The 27 year old was frozen out at the start of the season as Porto attempted to offload the player to free up transfer funds, but after a move didn’t happenĀ in the summer transfer window, he was reintegrated into the first team squad in mid September.

Since then, Brahimi has made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing four assists. His long term future is still up in the air, and it is possibleĀ Porto would be open to offers from the Hammers and other clubs in the summer.
