Lyon have joined the race to sign Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to Talksport. West Ham, Everton and West Brom have all been linked with the Ivory Coast international in recent days.

The radio station reports that the Ligue One side are looking at the 28 year old as a potential replacement for star striker Alexandre Lacazette who is likely to leave the French club in the summer. They are reportedly also looking at another Hammers target Michy Batshuayi as a potential option.

Bony has had a difficult season on loan at Stoke City, scoring just two goals in 11 appearances. The Ivorian once again missed out on a place in the Potters’ match day squad for the game against Burnley last night, and he has failed to feature since his return from the African Cup of Nations at the start of February.

After making the bench for the games against Everton and West Brom, he has not been selected in Stoke’s last seven league games, with no suggestion of an injury.
